A place of inspiration and beauty!
A trip to Nepal in November 2014 proved to be very special dand inspirational.
In order to preserve these great memories, I would like to share some of these moments with you.
I hope that you will join me on this journey
I enjoyed creating the painting below of the Himalayan Range – Sarangkot – It helps to preserve the precious memory of this awe-inspiring mountain range. When I saw them at first, I felt like a child with excitement – The Himalayas – there they were right in front of me. I could almost reach out and touch them – I just could not get enough!
The next painting below, is Nyatapola Temple, Bhaktapur, Nepal.
It was one of the few remaining buildings left untouched by the earthquake in 2015 which claimed the lives of over 6,000 people.
I created this painting as a fundraiser – much needed to support the Nepal Emergency Fund. This is my way of making some contribution to the lives that have been destroyed by this devastation. I am proud to make any contribution at all that may make an impact on the lives of those that have been hurt.
