Original Paintings in Dublin to purchase at The People’s Art Exhibition
24th – 26th June 2016
Once again, the People’s Art exhibition takes place around the centre of Dublin at St. Stephens Green this coming weekend. More than 100 artists will display their work all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
If you’re in Dublin, why not come along and see some great work all of which is available for purchase. I will be located on the East side of the Green and I hope to see you there.
Following on from the The People’s Art Exhibition in May, I thought you might like to take a look at some of the art exhibits that were on display. Yours truly features after about 3 minutes into the presentation!

The weather is good and the outdoor art exhibition around St. Stephens Green, Dublin this weekend promises to be great.
I have been busy preparing for this exhibition and took full advantage of the sunshine in the garden today.
No matter how much room I thought I had, it was never enough! Frames, paint, brushes, hanging cords, screws, screwdrivers, tape, wrapping …. the list just goes on. A busy day, a fun day and everything all packed up for the morning.
If you’re in Dublin this weekend, be sure to drop by. There will be over a hundred artists exhibiting around St. Stephens Green with super original and unique paintings to suit everyone’s taste.
People’s Art Dublin is a voluntary, part time, non profit making group, brought together by Dublin City Council to promote the visual arts to the public of Dublin. Each year after expenses are paid, donations are made to various charities.

The Morning After
– People’s Art Exhibition May in Dublin
kindly put together by artist, Pervaneh Matthews.
It is now the morning after and despite torrential rain never before seen in the lovely month of May, we managed to keep our spirits up along with the umbrellas, tarpaulins, plastic sheeting, pegs to hold everything down and anything and everything that gave shelter from the unrelenting Irish monsoon.
I could whinge and nobody would say a thing but then, this is Ireland, it is said:
there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!
(my poor paintings wouldn’t agree)
‘Think I’ll start lining up Statues of Prague for the next exhibition on 20th -22nd June!
