Abstract illusions evoke a great sense of freedom – an opportunity to wander through a labyrinth of imaginative play and evoke an emotional response. 

My work is influenced by the elemental forces of nature bringing together colour, shape and form to convey visual ideas in an expressionistic manner.  I love the interplay of texture,  loose form, surrealist and ephermeral elements with merging colour. An invitation to visualise and journey beyond the earths’ surface and revel in mood and atmosphere.  I add texture from a myriad of sources and I use palette knives with their unique mark making.
