This iconic view, which is drawn by its geological significancce, wealth of legends and the ideal place for hiking and climbing is the pride of Kerry. It is nestled between the highest mountains in Ireland (McGillycuddy Reeks) and Killarney’s Purple and Tomies mountains is a sight to behold. Starting out from Kate Kearneys cottage, Killarney, Co. Kerry we travelled the area by pony and trap or jaunting car and heard the magical stories of days gone by the local farmer.
