Lahinch Beach

1,600.00

I travelled to Lahinch beach on a cold spring day when the air was crisp and the skies were blue.  I spent quite some time strolling along the beach and absorbing the fresh, clean air, while listening to the roar of the waves pummelling their way to the shore. The tide was out so I was free to roam at my leisure, taking some time to sit by the rocks and absorb this beautifully wild and rugged scene.  Alone with my thoughts, except for the occasional seagull swerving close by. This beach is famous for its surfing and Lahinch is also known for its golfing and art galleries.

I later created this painting in my studio and tried to capture the light and beauty of this vibrant scene showing the charm of Lahinch Beach, a seaside town in Co. Clare, Ireland.
